Our mission for BreweryTraining is to help deliver the safety and health resources you need to succeed in creating and delivering quality product, but without the painful and expensive burdens associated with workplace injuries. Ultimately, our vision is to help craft brewers realize the bottom line benefits of safety. To this end, we are committed to offering affordable, informative and innovative online safety resources to reach as many breweries as possible.

Unfortunately, there is no single silver bullet for achieving OSHA compliance or maximizing the economic benefits of an overall safety management program. Safety & Health Training

Affordable and easy to use online training platform designed specifically for breweries and brewpubs. BreweryTraining allows the brewer representative(s) to assign and track selected safety training modules for their employees. The employees will need to successully pass the respective quizzes before receiving a certificate of module completion. These certificates will help in providing the needed documentation to demonstrate that the employees have obtained a threshold level of hazard and abatement awareness for the duties in which they may be assigned. Customizable resources are also provided (pre-shift safety talks, etc) to further augment the training for compliance purposes. This training service is offered for a low fixed monthly rate depending on whether your business is a nano or micro brewery or a brewpub. We do not want cost to be the impediment the prevents your business from moving forward with safety improvements.

 

Safety & Health Management Programs

Safety programs specifically tailored for the craft brewing industry, whether its a nano/micro brewery or a brewpub, are required if your location aspires for regulatory compliance and risk reduction. In fact, generic off-the-shelf programs often create more compliance and enforcement risks than they endeavor to solve. As former OSHA officials ourselves, we can tell you that compliance officers have seen hundreds, if not thousands, of employer programs. They are quite adept at spotting a generic "any industry" safety program within seconds. And, candidly, they really don't like it. Having a program that is in plain language, user/reader-friendly, and 'speaks the brewery language' so to speak has a far greater chance of employee adoption and OSHA acceptance. We deliver cost effective safety programs that are tailored for your specific brewery or brewpub.

 

Compliance Assessment

A safety and health compliance assessment demonstrates management commitment to their employees' safety and well-being . Though the onsite audit can take anywhere from 1 to 3 days depending on the scope, size, and complexity of the brewery operation, it is well worth the effort. Even at facilities with full-time dedicated safety staff, there will very likely be 'low-hanging fruit' type serious violations that are hidden in plain site. We are proud of our record in that no client, brewery or otherwise, has ever been cited for a violation after implementing our practical recommendations. None. More importantly, our clients enjoy a significant reduction in the injury rates and associated costs savings in the period following our assessment.

 

Although bundling all three services (ondemand training, safety program development, and compliance audit) provides the maximum opportunity for success and risk reduction, we recognize that safety is a journey and not a destination. After helping so many brewing clients across the country - as Prometrix Safety Consulting - improve their safety (OSHA) compliance and performance, we began getting inquiries if we offered any online training and other support to help make their journey to a safer brewery an even easier to achieve and maintain reality. In other words, seamless.

 

When those inquiries started to become requests, we knew we had to respond. To not confuse our other clients in other industries, and more importantly to make sure that craft brewers are offered the important information in a manner that specifically addresses their needs and methods, the concept of www.brewerytraining.com was born.
