Welcome to the blog page for BreweryTraining.com. Our intent is to provide useful safety and health information that will help you operate your brewery in a safer manner. No one wants to get hurt - or have one of their brewmates get hurt - while making craft beer.
We invite you to explore the website. It is broken out into 4 main sections (which couple change based on your feedback): Safety Training, Safety Programs, Compliance Assessments, and of course... this blog. Additional reference resources are incorporated into those sections as appropriate, at least for the time being.
Our mission for BreweryTraining is to help deliver the safety and health resources you need to succeed in creating and delivering quality beer without the painful and expensive burdens associated with workplace injuries. Ultimately, our vision is to help craft brewers capture the bottom line benefits of good safety performance.
To this end, we are committed to offering affordable, informative, and innovative online safety resources to reach as many craft breweries as possible. Put another way -- help brewers better understand how Safety Pays!
For example:
- Fewer painful injuries
- Higher employee morale, retention, and engagement
- Fewer operational disruptions from employees going home early or missing work shifts
- Over time, lower insurance and workers' comp premiums
- Avoid negative media attention associated with accidents
- Avoid and/or minimize the likelihood and severity of OSHA inspections and citations
- Note: Keep in mind that OSHA also assigns contractor and temporary worker violations to the brewer
Although there is no one single silver bullet for achieving OSHA compliance and cost savings, our intention is to provide multiple services (training, safety programs, audits, and information sharing) to significantly increase your likelihood of success. We look forward to engaging more with the craft brewing industry as we these services continue to move forward.
As will always be the case, your feedback and engagement is greatly appreciated.
